23 May 2022 – Victoria‘s Bass Coast Shire Council has successfully implemented next gen technology which is transforming the way the local community interacts with council.

Located in Victoria, Bass Coast Shire Council is well known as a leader in digital transformation and is one of many organisations who have changed the way they deliver services, following the implementation of TechnologyOne’s state of the art Property and Rating (P&R) solution.

Ed Chung, CEO of TechnologyOne, said he was incredibly proud to see local councils like Bass Coast transform the way it interacts with the community.

“We’re investing more than $70M in R&D to ensure P&R is a customer centric solution deeply embedded in TechnologyOne’s SaaS OneCouncil solution.

“Having worked with the local government sector for more than 30 years, TechnologyOne continues to evolve its OneCouncil enterprise solution and it’s helping Australian and New Zealand councils to future-proof, and to do what they do best – serve their community,” he said.

Wayne Mack (General Manager Business Transformation) from Bass Coast said TechnologyOne’s OneCouncil solution has underpinned a ‘customer first’ approach to interacting with the local community.

“We are proud to be at the forefront of local government technology, and that our local community are some of the first in line to benefit,” Mr Mack said.

“We’ve always tried to have a culture of continuous improvement and our new SaaS-based solution from TechnologyOne gives us a platform to do that. After rolling out TechnologyOne’s Request Management, we’ve seen a significant improvement in customer response times and provided new ways for our community to engage with us.” he said.

More than 130 councils have chosen TechnologyOne’s Property and Rating as part of its OneCouncil suite.

TechnologyOne is Australia’s leading ERP SaaS provider.
