Student Survey Report
With the mass shift to remote learning and changing student expectations, tertiary education institutions are pursuing new ways to empower students and enhance their education experience. To better understand how students navigated their tertiary education in 2021, and to help institutions to identify key areas for technology development, TechnologyOne conducted a student survey, polling more than 1,700 university and VET students across Australia and New Zealand.
At a glance
- There is a growing interest among students for micro-credentialing, with 39% of students expressing an interest in exploring micro-credentialing as an education option.
- Online accessibility was identified as a key driver for students. More than 31% of respondents felt it was extremely important to have online enrolment and the ability to access course resources and materials from any device at any time.
- 25% of respondents said they would switch institutions for a better technology experience.
