Mission Australia

Mission Australia

Mission Australia was founded in 1997 as a partnership of Nationwide mission groups, all were originally founded due to the growing need for food, clothing, and housing among struggling Australians. They were each founded on the values of compassion, integrity, respect, perseverance and celebration. These values have followed Mission Australia throughout the years to establish an ethos of helping disadvantaged people achieve independence.

Mission Australia is a national organisation with more than 155 years' experience in standing together with Australians in need on their journey to independence. Their programs include services supporting the development of underprivileged youth within our communities, by empowering them to transform their lives and create their own pathways of success. Mission Australia supported over 140,000 clients across Australia in in FY17 through its 470 programs and services.
