TechnologyOne solution goes live at NZ Ministry of Justice
TechnologyOne solutions to be deployed across 103 locations
TechnologyOne Limited, a leading provider of enterprise business software solutions has announced that a major software upgrade to the New Zealand’s Ministry of Justice has gone live. The enterprise software will be used by approximately 1250 staff working at 103 locations throughout New Zealand, making it one of TechnologyOne’s most significant government deployments in New Zealand to date.
Driven by the Ministry’s goal to make the organisation’s data more accessible to a wider range of employees, the upgrade enables financial processes and information to be distributed to staff throughout the organisation. This ensures users have access to online, real-time financial information required to support decision-making.
TechnologyOne’s Financials, Budgeting and Performance Planning will support key business processes of Ministry of Justice including: financial management, procurement, budgeting and reporting, executive management reporting, project accounting, time recording and cash receipting.
TechnologyOne competed against a range of tier one enterprise software vendors to win the deal which was awarded in November 2005.
“TechnologyOne is heavily committed to R&D and we guarantee to ‘future-proof’ the technology investment made by our customers in the medium and longer-term,” says Don Glenn, NZ Country Manager, TechnologyOne. “Our unique business model, where we design, develop and provide after sales support for our own software solutions, holds us accountable to our clients.”
“Our one-stop approach means that our own dedicated staff are accountable from the beginning to the end of a software project, as well as providing ongoing support and services once the system is up and running. For all of our customers this means that their success is our success.”
TechnologyOne’s relationship with the government sector spans more than a decade and more than 18 Central Government departments in its Portfolio of 77 customers across New Zealand. This expertise has led to a solution suite based on state of the art technology, backed by a substantial research and development program, to ensure the technology meets the changing needs of government organisations.
