TechnologyOne appoints GM to oversee new ECM software release

TechnologyOne has appointed a new General Manager - Enterprise Content Management (ECM) in time for the rollout of its major new release of the ECM product on the company's Connected Intelligence platform.

Geoff Moore joins the leading enterprise software company from Hewlett Packard where he was the Sales Director for Information Management Software in the South Pacific.

Prior to his time at HP, Moore spent 18 years with Tower Software, most recently as General Manger Asia Pacific.

In an earlier role with the TRIM developer, as President and CEO in the USA, he oversaw the establishment of Tower Software's office in North America, responsible for all company administration and business development.

He will now oversee the rollout of the new Connected Intelligence version of TechnologyOne ECM across 180 customer sites in Australia and New Zealand, following its implementation at a number of early adopter sites including Gosford City Council in New South Wales in March and April 2010.

TechnologyOne has updated the underlying technology of the new ECM product to the .Net platform, to enhance integration and apply document and records controls to the Australian software company's other solutions such as Financials, HR & Payroll and Microsoft Office.

The platform also offers overall improved functionality, including powerful grids for sorting and grouping, with column customisation, the ability to move between TechnologyOne product workplaces, extended search capabilities and easy to use menus.

TechnologyOne Executive Chairman Adrian Di Marco said the new ECM product release and senior appointment demonstrated the company's commitment to ensuring its customers had access to the most advanced software and knowledgeable management in the market.

"The Connected Intelligence ECM release has taken 12 months to develop and will be finetuned at a number of early adopter sites before it is rolled out in May," Mr Di Marco said.

"We invest heavily in research and development to ensure all our solutions keep up to date with new technology and evolving customer needs, and we are always recruiting for the most talented people.

"We are confident Geoff Moore has the skills and drive to launch the new series of ECM forward in the future."

TechnologyOne ECM will continue to be sold on its own or as part of TechnologyOne's pre-configured vertical market solutions, such as OneFMA, which offers ‘best practice' for Federal Government, streamlining departments' mandatory reporting and compliance.

The solution is compliant with ISO 15489, the principles of which lay the foundation for all the records management frameworks prescribed by regulatory agencies across New Zealand and Australia.
