TechnologyOne Achieves AWS Nonprofit Competency Status

TechnologyOne (ASX:TNE) announced today that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Nonprofit Competency status, adding to its existing repertoire of achievements of AWS Education Competency and AWS Government Competency status.

Achieving the AWS Nonprofit Competency differentiates TechnologyOne as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that provides specialised demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success.

TechnologyOne Chief Operating Officer Stuart MacDonald said coupled with the company’s existing achievement of AWS Government Competency status and AWS Education Competency status, TechnologyOne is now one of the only technology vendors globally with all three public sector competencies.

“TechnologyOne is proud to achieve AWS Nonprofit Competency status,” MacDonald said.

“Our team is dedicated to helping companies achieve their technology goals by leveraging the agility, breadth of services, and pace of innovation that AWS provides.

“It’s great to be recognised as an Advanced Technology Partner in the AWS Partner Network with deep domain expertise in the markets we operate.”

MacDonald said as a market leader in enterprise software, TechnologyOne works with AWS to deliver a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution.

“TechnologyOne’s enterprise SaaS solution is high performing, reliable, and secure. We’re delivering innovation to guarantee our customers’ enterprise solution is at the leading edge of technology,” MacDonald said.

TechnologyOne delivers an integrated, enterprise-wide software system built specifically for the Health & Community Services sector, helping non-profit organisations to reduce operating costs, identify and drive efficiencies, and support growth plans.

For Royal Flying Doctor Service, TechnologyOne’s SaaS solution has improved user access to its finance system and enabled its IT team to focus on strategic initiatives.

“It was never our strategy to become specialists in the TechnologyOne software; so [moving to SaaS] means we don’t have to bridge the gap between hosting provider and software vendors, because TechnologyOne is responsible for all of it,” said RFDS Executive Manager - ICT Services and Business Solutions Fiona Foley.

“We’re comfortable knowing the system is being run by the specialists, who know how to run it best. TechnologyOne runs and manages the system and keeps us up to date with enhancements and improvements. It means new technologies, innovations, and enhancements will be done for us.

“Being on the cloud, our users now just need any computer and an internet connection and can run with it. I no longer need to install anything. It means it’s a lot easier for them to access the system throughout their day, regardless of where they are.”

AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify Consulting and Technology APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.

This designation recognises that TechnologyOne provides proven technology and deep expertise to help nonprofit customers by providing end-to-end solutions for fundraising, donor management, volunteer engagement, and program management so customers can quickly, cost-efficiently, and securely leverage technology to scale mission impact and drive social change.
