Definitions

"We or Us or Our" refers to Technology One Ltd. "You or Your" refers to You and Your business organisation, including any of its employees, agents and representatives.

Legal

Virtual Consultant services fall under the definition of consulting services and are subject to TechnologyOne's standard terms and conditions for support and maintenance.

Payment for service

Virtual Consultant is available as a prepaid service, and as a service that is billed monthly. Please choose the method that best suits Your organisation. Click here for more information.

Prepaid service

Account establishment

We require a prepayment to establish Your account. The minimum prepayment required is not less than $2000*. You are able and encouraged to pay more than the minimum.

To establish an account, You must go to our Virtual Consulting website, click the link to 'Sign up for a prepaid account', then complete and submit the details on the screen. Following this process, as per the directions on the web site, either a purchase order for a minimum value of $2000*, or a request to be invoiced directly for $2000* must be forwarded to VirtualConsultant@TechnologyOneCorp.com by You. We will send a tax invoice to You for the requested amount.

As this is a prepaid service, payment is due immediately. Service may be suspended until payment is received.

Please note that You may begin utilising the Virtual Consultant service after the purchase order has been received by Us and before payment has been made. We will perform up to 2 hours of service for You until actual payment has been received. We may increase or decrease this allowance at Our discretion.

Account top-up

If You have already established a Virtual Consultant account, the minimum charge to 'top up' the balance of the account is $2000*. You are able and encouraged to pay more than the minimum.

To top-up the account, please visit Our Virtual Consulting website, click the link 'Top up my prepaid account' and follow the directions to either:

• Forward Us a purchase order for a minimum value of $2000*; or
• Complete the details on the screen to request a direct invoice.

We will send a tax invoice to You for the requested amount.

As this is a prepaid service, payment is due immediately. Service may be suspended until payment is received.

Balance query

You will receive a monthly activity statement detailing the balance carried forward from the previous activity statement and any services performed for the month followed by the amount of credit remaining.

Expiration of credit

Prepayments do not expire.

Changing your details

At the time of establishing an account, We will collect information required to contact You. This information will contain Your authorised representatives. These nominated people are the only contacts who may request Virtual Consultant services.

To remove or add people to the list of Authorised Representatives, please visit Our Virtual Consulting website, click 'Change my contact details' and complete the details on the screen.

 

Monthly billing service

Account establishment

The monthly billing service does not require an account to be established and therefore does not require a purchase order or a request for an invoice. As You do not maintain a credit balance, no activity statement will be set to You. 

Invoicing

At the end of each month, We will send You an invoice listing all services performed by Us for You that month. The invoice is due and payable according to Our standard payment terms.

You agree that the invoices received each month will be paid in full by You. 

We reserve the right to suspend further services until payment is received in relation to any overdue invoices.

 

Service rate

The current rate is $62.50* per 15 minutes of service. This rate is effective until 30 September 2012. Promotional rates may be offered from at a time of Our choosing. The value of the services performed will be either deducted from Your prepaid account, or added to your monthly bill at either the standard rate, or the promotional rate, whichever is applicable at the time the service is performed.

Performing the service

Requesting the service

To request Virtual Consultant services, You must go to Our Virtual Consulting website, select 'Request for Service' then complete and submit the details on the screen. We will then contact You to discuss your request.

  

Time to complete service

A time for delivering the service will be booked and confirmed by Our Virtual Consultant with your contact.

On the date and at time of commencement of the service and on the time of termination of the service, both parties will acknowledge and record the time, and the total time taken to deliver the service.

Approximately half way through the service, or at any point determined by either party, progress will be assessed. If it is deemed by Us that the service requires more time to be delivered than was originally estimated, We will advise You of this and provide an option to You to terminate the service at that point.

Upon completion of delivering the service, the total time taken will be either subtracted from Your Virtual Consultant balance (for Prepaid accounts), or added to Your monthly bill at the unit rate that is applicable at that time.

 

Remote desktop access

If requested, You will make Yourself available to undertake the service through remote desktop access or such remote technology which is suitable for timely delivery of the service, eg, GoToMeeting.

 

*Amounts quoted are in Australian Dollars. Australian customers must add 10% GST.
