The City of Charles Sturt formed in 1997 when the City of Hindmarsh Woodville and the City of Henley and Grange amalgamated. The City has a population of approximately 100,500 and covers an area that stretches from west of the Adelaide CBD to the coast. Logan City Council’s human resource payroll system was reaching the end of its life cycle and Council decided to move to a new system. Transforming its human resources system presented Council with a major challenge – to get a solution that would meet not only its immediate transformation needs, but also one that would provide a platform for future growth and change.
